Bunny Rangler... BBHS!

For Halloween I decided to be a bunny rangler. Quite literally actually.

I went over to my parents house to hand out candy to the kiddies. When I drove into the driveway, I noticed a rabbit sitting in our front yard eating our grass. Hmmm... let's see who she belongs to.... Patches belongs to our new neighbors across the street. Their son was home so he and I had to catch her.

"You're gonna get tired and I'm gonna scoop you up Patches!" Get tired she did.....

25 minutes later.

5 front yards later.

20 minutes of cardio later.

We're back in my front yard. Where I cornered Patches by the faucet and scooped her up. Her heart was beating super fast and she was shaking. I held her and she calmed down enough to put her back in her own backyard.

My friend Az is teaching English in Korea so I may be able to have my students be pen pals with his students. I think that would be awesome!!!! Talk about introducing things that are from around the world and culturally diverse. I'm excited!

Let's Get Physical

Today is physicals day. We had 100 appointments and all were filled. We'll end up making a pretty good chunk of change today. It just takes the entire day that's all.

Electricity in the air

Last night's Metal Head show was full of bad jous-jous. Bad, bad, bad! It all started with a fiesty heckler in the crowd followed by the weird man that totally looked like a chick. I had to take a double take when he came out of the ladies bathroom with his friend. Then there was the fat guy with the prison tat's that had to start touching Bailey's hand and then asked her if she was that weird all the time. So basically we just got the hell out of there. Bad feelings all around. Our tails we're tingling. Hopefully, today will be much better.

I had the best time at Bailey's! As per the birthday girls wishes we all went skinny dipping. Lots of girls and 2 guys. One married, one not. Either way who passes up skinny dipping with 5 girls. Including Miss No-Nude! We got a no-nuder to embrace her nudeness and jump in the pool. Yay! Can't wait for Metalhead tonight!

Home Sweet Home

It feels so good to be home. I love to travel but there is nothing better than coming home and sleeping in your own bed. It just feels right. Besides I don't start spontaneously sweating as soon as I go outside. My sunglasses haven't fogged up once. I know now that I never really want to move away from here unless it's to California. I don't think I could take the humidity or the constant swamp ass for longer then a week. With that being said. It celebration of today being a non-sw'ass day, it's also been a free day if you know what I mean. Commando never feels so good as it does in the desert.

Today's events...

Today was really cool. I got to see a bunch of my cousins that I normally don't see. My Uncle Tom's son, wife, and his son-in-law. They are awesome folks. I also got to see my cousin Kathy and her boyfriend Arthur. Arthur is a fun guy, he's from India and works in insurance. On the weekends they help out at a vineyard and reap the benefits. I wish I could get back here more often to see and be with these guys.

My cousin John and his wife Kathy have a full bar in their basement. I told my parents that when I buy a house this was going to be their housewarming present to me. I need to start looking for a house so I can have my own bar. We head back to DC tomorrow. Maybe we'll stop at the shore maybe not.

It's time for bed... drank tooo much... 4 Buds and 1 Utica Club.

Things that thouroughly gross me out...

1. The liquid on top of the sour cream. I am never the one that opens it and stirs it. It gives me the dry heaves.
2. Skin diseases [i.e. ringworm (Tinea corpus)] things that are generally oozy and crusty. Whenever a wrestler asks me "Do you think this is ringworm?" I make them stand across the room from me.


That's all I can think of at the moment. Only two things gross me out. Not a bad list at all.

Family Vacations and More!

This has been a whirlwind occasion. My brother is working for a Representative so he gives tours and writes letters and sees how our government works close up. I'm kind of envious of him for being given this opportunity. What's a family vacation without arguing. My brother and I have little spats here and there, I guess that's why we're much closer when we're in separate cities. Anywho, we've walked about 20 miles or more in the past two days. My toe has a blister that scared the crap out of me. I thought it was some weird growth but it's a blister none the less.

Tonight we're in Cranston, NJ. We had dinner with my Uncle Jim and Aunt Pat. We also got to see the childhood home of my dad and uncles and the schools they went to. Pretty cool. The houses and schools back here are really awesome. They each have sooo much history. Never in Phoenix would you see people driving by houses and saying that's where I grew up... it's changed owners ... x times. Craziness!

When glitter attacks...

And I'm not talking about that crappy Mariah Carey movie either. I went shopping last night. Of course I got attracted to the shirt that was all shiny and pretty. What I thought were really tiny twinkling rhinestones was really silver glitter glued to the shirt. I got the shirt on. Looked okay. Then I noticed that there was a slight silvery glittery mist in the dressing room. Oh shnikes! How am I going to get this one off now without become the Silverglitter Yeti. Needless to say the glitter stuck to my face and chest. Especially since I had that "I just came in from the hellish outdoors" glow to me. I had to do the rest of my shopping with people staring at me wondering if I was completely insane for putting glitter in random spots on my face or if it was a disease of some sort. The glitter is like no other glitter though. It is stuck in my pores! I have exfoliated my skin 3 times now. The glitter is still there. At this rate I'll be pooping glitter for the next week!

Kitten of Doom

How much trouble can a 2.5lb kitten get into while I'm in the shower? Apparently, quite a bit. He got up on the bathroom sink and chewed on my hair brush. But the most impressive part is that he went potty in the litter box and then got on the toilet seat and unrolled the toilet paper to cover his potty. Monkey see monkey do.

Hives a Plenty

Now being a redhead I do have sensitive skin however, it's not too super sensitive. The driving school today proved that wrong. I broke out from the chair I was sitting out. Hives on every inch of body that touched the chair. My legs (15 on my right, and 9 on the left), to be exact. The manager, ironically named Don Johnson, was apologetic but that was it. "This has never happened in the two years I've been working here." The other lady said, "Maybe they're mosquito bites." Mosquito bites have heads on them. These are welts. He sent the head of maintenance in with me who told me, "I took a class about what to look for and there is nothing on this chair. I can give you a towel." I said, "No take the chair away from me". They handled it very unprofessionally from a customer service point of view. Just the run around and a bunch of apologies. I'm probably going to head over to the hospital to get double checked to see what I'm allergic to.

Defensive Driving School

Yippity Do Bazzle. 730-300. An all day festival of you should drive slower and pay more attention. It's not like I was going 120. I was going 48 in a 35 on a three lane divided road when there was absolutely no one else around except for me and the two bike cops in dark clothes in the shadows. Oh well at least I can get this over with and go on with my semi-speeding life.

Things I've Accomplished Today

1. Signed up for Defensive Driving in record time. (Ticket last night, School tomorrow)
2. Went down to court to prove I have insurance before the ticket is even in the system.
3. Got my certification number. I am an ATC officially now.
4. Read 45 pages of my book in 20 minutes.
5. Am now going to eat dinner at my landlord's house.

Speeding Ticket

Speedway equals dumbest street ever! No where in America should a three lane divided road be 35mph. NO WHERE! I got a stupid speeding ticket for going 45 mph on a 35 mph road. All the streets in Phoenix that are 3 lanes are 40 at least. Argh! Driving school here I come.

Last night was awesome! I got to shake my butt and dance and get in touch with my inner metalhead. God I love 80's metal. There I said we can all move on now. The plus side to last night was I got to get in touch with my inner bitch. God I love being in crowds and abusing the masses. Hee! That's beside the point. I'm pretty sure I broke this guy's foot, if not bruised it severly. I got sucker bounced off some fat girl's rolls. Picture being double bounced on the trampoline. That's what happened to me. Except all 185 lbs. of me landed on my spiked stilleto heel on "Billy's" foot. He told my friend's husband to "make sure I got his number". He either likes the abuse or he's a freak. He wasn't that attractive so I passed on that one.

Got my First Responder CPR and AED renewed today. I can officially return to being Superwoman with the ability to save lives. Off to torment the masses. *Kisses*

Spectacular Summer Shopping

Nickie and I went shopping today and I must say she and I have the best jiu-jiu. We saved more than three times as much as what we spent. We saved $118.59 and only spent $37.03!!! Is that not totally awesome?! Nothing like a shopping high to up the spirits.

Bad Friskies!

As I was shelling out Te's midnight snack, Friskies Flaked Tuna with Egg (the green label), I noticed a white shiny hard onject about a centimeter long. It was a bone from the fish! What kind of shit is that? Just because it's a cat eating it doesn't mean that you don't have to take out the bones. Te is not quite three months old, what would have happened if he choked on it? His esophagus isn't used to swallowing an actual animal let alone a bone from an animal. All I have to say is "What the FUCK Friskies?!"

Updates in a dull summer

I've done more shopping that I usually do just because I'm bored. Yesterday I took a giant leap in bra kind. I bought a strapless bra. Guess what?! It works. Of course I had to buy it at the plus sized girl store since they're the only ones that make strapless bras big enough and cute enough for my standards. My biggest fear with strapless bras is that I'll raise my arms and then all of a sudden I'll have four boobs. Not the case with this one. It stays in place and the girls stay in their holders. Woohoo!

The highlight of my summer has been nothing really. I went and saw Metalhead last week and plan on doing so again this week. Usually my life is never dull but lately as in the last month or so it's been boring as hell. I'll have to spice things up a bit.

My summer thus far

I've read The Da Vinci Code and Shopgirl, I've taken my certification exam (results to be announced next week), I've travelled to Denver, Beaver Dam, and 29 Palms. I've been scracthed, bitten, hissed at, and purred on by Te. My goals this summer, find my true identity, find myself, find love or at least the thought of it, become more confident, and read the rest of the 5 books on my "To Read" list.

For most of the summer Tucson will be my home. I am subletting my brother's house while he's in D.C. It's a tiny 1 bedroom, 1 bath house. It's cute and convenient for the summer. I should be able to get a lot done while I'm down there. I'm working on tons of projects at the moment and don't know where to begin. The love life is fizzled for the time being. I guess maybe I'll look while I'm down there... who knows.

Deuce Nine

Heading out in the morning to go over to Twentynine Palms. My cousin Keenan is graduating highschool. Lots of family and fun. Twentynine Palms is one of my favorite locations to travel to. I love it over there, probably because I have awesome memories formed there. Maybe I'll finish The Da Vinci Code on the way there. I've been reading it since February and now I have the time to finish it. Yay, Summer Vacation!

House shopping

I recently moved out of where I was living. Now I'm in the market to buy my own place and really become an adult. It's so confusing. I don't know what I want to buy let alone where I want to live. Do I want a condo or a house? Do I want to buy close to work or my ideal location? Do I want a one story or two story place? Do I want to go insane? Yes!
